· On-Line Application forms are invited from the desirous candidate forB.Ed. Admission session 2012-13 in Private B.Ed. Colleges of Kashmir Division.The candidates should have Bachelor’s degree with 45% (General) and 40%(Category) marks in any discipline from the University or any other recognizedUniversity as holds equivalence thereto by the University. The Graduateteachers under 10+2+2 scheme with minimum two years teaching experience inGovernment/Government-recognized private schools are also eligible to apply forthe above Admission.

· The On-Line Application forms should be submitted through KashmirUniversity websites, www.kashmiruniversity.net & www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in.

· The auto-generated application forms should reach the office of theDean, College Development Council(DCDC) as per below mentioned details, andalong with pay-in-slip of Rs.750/- favouring Dean, College DevelopmentCouncil’s

FinalceAccount Numbers :0007010100002714 in J&K Bank or 31246177581in State Bank of India. Besides, they

should enclose with the forms the attested copies of (i) MatriculationCertificate for Date of Birth (ii) 12^th Class Marks Card(iii) 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Year Marks Card (iv) Post Graduation Marks Card (v) State Subjectcertificate, (vi) and Category Certificate if any, issued by the competentauthority vide latest SRO of J&K Government.

· The prospectus shall be available On-line for further guidance regardingeligibility, Colleges, their location, history, etc;

· The admission shall be done purely on the basis of merit cum-counseling and choice of the candidates for a particularcollege/s. The candidate shall be required to present himself/herselfphysically on the day of Counseling along with Rs.10, 000/- in cash as part oftuition fee to be transferred later to the concerned colleges. However, theCandidates with Master’sdegree shall carry additional points at the time of finalization of selection list.

(i) Applicationforms incomplete, in any respect, shall not be processed for admission;

(ii) Universityshall not be responsible for any postal delay and forms received after the lastdate/s shall, in no case, be entertained for admission;

(iii) Theadmission so granted shall be subject to the physical verification of thecandidates in the Colleges through special/surprise /periodical inspections;

(iv) The academic session shall be treated operative form 1^st August 2012 only;

(v) NoPrivate College of Education affiliated /to be affiliated with KashmirUniversity is /shall be competent to make admissions on its own or on behalf ofthe University of Kashmir;

(vi) Candidateshall be admitted only in the Collegeaffiliated with the University of Kashmir;

(vii) Intheir own interests, the candidate are advised to stay in touch with the officeof the DCDC (Off-Phone : 0194-2426318) and the University websites, www.kashmiruniversity.net & www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in for nay information regardingadmission, College, their location, history, infrastructure etc. No candidateshall be informed individually.
